anticipated in 2021. Named after the area code for Calabasas, California, where the Kardashian-Jenner clan has lived for years, 818 Tequilas are a collection of Blanco, Reposado and Añejo tequilas. Jenner announced that after “dozens of blind taste tests, trips to our distillery, entering into world tasting competitions anonymously and WINNING. 3.5 years later i think we’ve done it!”. 818 Tequilas garnered awards at several competitions, including the “Best Reposado” at World Tequila Awards and the Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
All handcrafted and small batch tequilas, the agave are handpicked from the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco. The distiller’s registration number suggests 818 Tequilas are distilled at La Cofradia distillery, famed for its wide range of award-winning tequila brands.
Reposado tequilas spend anywhere from 2 months to a year in barrels, taking on a gold hue. 818 Reposado Tequila is a handcrafted, small batch Reposado tequila, made from 100% blue Weber agave and aged in oak barrels. Awarded the title Best Reposado at World Tequila Awards, it’s bottled at a pleasant 80 proof and boasts a well-rounded palate and buttery caramel flavors with gentle spices shining through. Perfect for sipping neat.

We came back the following morning with just enough time to browse and I’m glad we did.We were greeted when we walked in. Brendan assisted us for the rest of the shopping experience. He was great. He had knowledge of a variety of whiskies. It was impressive. He made the shopping experience very easy and was able to get my order together. I’ve been home now for just over a week. I’ve opened up the first bottle that he recommended and he was spot on.I highly recommend this place. The hours are limited but I think that’s more of a SF thing. The prices were decent but the variety was very strong. The customer service really sets this place apart!!

Rich Lazar00:27 13 Feb 19A gem of a Scotch shop. The workers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have a lot of rare items that you can’t find in regular liquor stores. I make sure that this is a stop every time I am in the bay area to check out what gems they have. They are also willing to look out for certain items for you in case you want something special. I would highly recommend a visit if you enjoy Scotch.
